Abstract: The gastroprotective effect of the different fractions ofTribulusterrestris L. was investigated in the indomethacin-induced gastric ulcer in rats at dose of 30 mg/kg body weight. The petroleum ether and aqueous fractions hada significant gastroprotective activity, while the chloroform and ethyl acetate fractions hada moderate gastroprotective activity.
