We have described a comprehensive study of three garlic extracts on various types of cancer cell lines. One of the extracts has exhibited highest activity in MTT assay. It has also shown cancer stem cell inhibition in all the cell lines tested at average concentration of 0.305 mg/ml. In case of wound healing assay it has again exhibited maximum inhibition at scratch for MDAMB231 (88% ±1.4), PC3 (94% ±4.7), Hep3B (98% ±2.16) & HeLa (98% ±0.85) at 48 hours. All extracts were analyzed by HPLC for presence of active components Allin and Allicin of Garlic.
