Abstract: Infertility poses significant challenges for individuals and couples trying to conceive, with anovulation being a common cause. Factors such as hormone imbalances, polycystic ovary syndrome, thyroid issues, excessive exercise, stress, and certain medical conditions contribute to this condition. In Ayurveda, successful conception relies on four essential factors: Ritu, Kshetra, Ambu and Beeja, with Beeja, representing the egg, being crucial for fertility. In this case series, five patients with primary infertility attributed to anovulation were evaluated. They exhibited signs of anovulation, correlating with Ayurvedic principles regarding the importance of Beeja for conception. Diagnosis of anovulation was confirmed through clinical assessments and the exclusion of other infertility causes. The patients were diagnosed based on their medical history, hormonal profiles, and ovulation tracking. In this case series all the five patients were treated with Ayurvedic medicines Jatiphala Churna and Mishri, orally for three months. After a three-month intervention with Ayurvedic treatments, including Jatiphala Churna and Mishri, all five patients achieved positive urine pregnancy tests, indicating successful outcomes. The case series demonstrates that Ayurvedic interventions can effectively address infertility associated with anovulation. The positive results suggest that specific formulations like Jatiphala Churna and Mishri may play a significant role in enhancing fertility and promoting successful conception.
