Abstract: The shift toward herbal dentifrices is driven by concerns over the adverse effects of chemical-based oral care products. Toothfully Yours™ All in One Tooth Tabs, herbal toothpaste comprising 16 bioactive ingredients, claims to offer antimicrobial benefits with minimal abrasivity and pH disruption. To evaluate the surface roughness, pH stability, and antimicrobial efficacy of Toothfully Yours™ All in One Tooth Tabs (foaming and non-foaming variants) through an in vitro study. Twenty extracted human premolars were sectioned, polished, and subjected to simulated toothbrushing (10,000 strokes) using a standardized brushing simulator. Surface roughness (Ra) was measured pre- and post-brushing using a contact profilometer. pH analysis was conducted by dissolving the tablets in deionized water and artificial saliva with measurements taken over 30 minutes. Antimicrobial efficacy against Streptococcus mutans and Lactobacillus acidophilus was assessed using agar well diffusion assays at various dilutions. Data were analysed using paired t-tests and one-way ANOVA (p< 0.05). Both variants showed significant antimicrobial activity up to 1:4 dilutions, with the foaming variant exhibiting greater inhibition zones. Surface roughness changes were minimal and statistically non-significant on enamel and dentin, indicating low abrasivity, pH remained within a near-neutral range (7.02-7.31), demonstrating stable buffering action in both aqueous and simulated salivary media. Toothfully Yours™ All in One Tooth Tabs offer effective antimicrobial properties, minimal surface abrasively, and pH stability, making them promising candidates for daily oral hygiene. Further clinical trials are needed to validate these in vitro findings.
