Abstract: Ayurveda offers a comprehensive approach to health, focusing on prevention and treatment. Shitapitta, a Tridoshaja Twak Vyadhi described in Madhava Nidana, is caused by vitiation of Vata and Kapha, displacing Pachaka Pitta to the Bhrajak Pitta Sthana (skin). It presents with itching, redness, swelling, pricking pain, and burning sensation, resembling modern Urticaria. This case study of a 47-year-old female with classical Shitapitta features highlights the role of Ashayapakarsha Gati in pathogenesis. Diagnosis was based on classical Nidanas and clinical examination. The findings support the correlation between Ayurvedic Doshagati and modern allergic mechanisms, suggesting an integrated approach for diagnosis and management of Shitapitta Vyadhi.
